I never told you did I?

We had some fireworks at the weekend, some rockets and the like. I got a rocket out of the packet (god this sounds like a porno!) anyways I got this rocket out and continued to get it ready to shoot! (it is a porno! lol) You get these things to stick em in but as you do I didnt look for that and stuck the rocket in the ground. Yeh yeh I know! So I went to light it and stood back ready to see the fab display that it would produce. We waited and waited, now bear in mind I had stuck the bloody thing in the ground! So it couldnt really erm fly into the sky. You could see it vibrating, trying to escape (sounds like men when they see me in a morning!) All of a sudden it went quiet, then it fucking blew up! We were all deaf for at least a min, I think the idea is that it was supposed to be placed into the tube that came with it so that it could escape into the sky! Oh well we all make mistakes! ;p

Then onto the catherine wheel, now you are supposed to stick this to a fence, so I get my big hammer out and bang it in. By this time everyone was on valium and glad to be alive. So I lit this wheel thingy, it started to spin and we were most amazed. I got out my camera hoping to take a picture of this amazing thing! Then all of a sudden whilst spinning at fifty miles an hour and making a noise a bit like a faked orgasm, it bloody come loose didnt it and flew at me, I was nearly catherine wheel decapitated! It was a different experience I suppose!

Adams Room 101 - Elderly Scooters

Right my first room 101 item is these bloody things. They appear on roads and pavements and I swear the people driving them are on a mission, either to smash yer shins to bitz or go under yer wheels. When they go on the roads they dont care about cars they just pull in front of you.

When the OAP decides to get out of the thing they do cartwheels and run and jump. Why the hell do they need to be in the bloody things! They even have a snazzy hood thing on some of them for when it rains. When you see one of them coming at you with the hood on its a scary sight indeed!

The people driving them look so tense, whilst going 1 mile an hour. They appear in crowded towns, forcing you to sidestep out of the way or end up in a&e! They dont care who they sever an artery with!

The lovely lady in the pic has obviously got her shopping done, I do feel that when she gets off the thing it will collapse forward due to overload of food!

So that is why I must shove these bloody contraptions into my room 101!

Friday the 13th scary or silly?

Watched this film for the first time in ages today, I could say that when I was younger it would have been scary but now its just plain daft.

A girl who is supposed to be going to camp to cook there hitches a lift in Mrs Voorhees lovely jeep. After driving straight past the camp she leaps out of the jeep (look closely and you can see a elbow pad when she jumps) and limps into the wood, closely followed by Mrs V. Then we see a shot where she gets her neck slit, (so dont ever hitch a lift!) other deaths in the film are a guy having an arrow shoved in his neck while lying in bed (we presume Mrs V managed to get under a camper bed and manage to get a long arrow under there too). Another is a woman having an axe in her head whilst on the toilet (all she wanted was the lav!). The picture on this post is Mrs V struggling to put the (looks rubber) knife in Alice's throat. (Alice looks like she is not even looking in the right place) Now call me silly but she managed to kill all the others so easily but cannot quite aim the knife right this time. We then see the final where after being hit with a poker and, a pan and other things Mrs V comes alive and attempts to kill Alice on the camp beachy bit. After the most stupid of fights Mrs V ends up losing her head, this happens in slow motion with Alice performing some sort of dance then swinging the knife. After all the stress of seeing everyone else dead and chopping off Mrs V's head Alice decides to get into one of the boats and float out in the lake.(I think of all the counselling she would need but she thinks of a ride in a boat in the middle of the night) Just as we think Alice is safe a disfigured person appears from the lake pulling her under, she then appears in the hospital looking too calm for my liking! Its as if nothing has happened to her.

I was scared when young but not now, I would guess that in time a remake will happen. Its a classic tho.

Found a stray chiwawa the other day, so cute. I wasn't keen on them before as seem to be nasty and have a tiny head however they are growing on me!

Kwik Save

Over the last few weeks I have been thinking about some things and one of them was the great time I had working for Kwik Save. Now you probably remember this supermarket with the fond phrase of "I cant get a full shop there" yes that was a problem that never seem to be addressed. If you shopped at KS you could never get everything so had to go elsewhere, I suspect this was due to floor space as many of the stores didn't have room to stock more ranges.

We had some laughs there and I have thought about it more when I see old colleagues that I used to work there with. Its a shame it ended really but I think it was inevitable in the end. I left (well was made redundant) in 1998, I remember this as went to see 'The Avengers' at the cinema which I have to say was an awful remake of the 60's classic! Think there was only about 6 of us there watching it! It was sad to leave but I felt my time was up and that the company was going in the wrong direction, it seemed to be obsessed with trying to match the bigger food retailers of which it could never do. Aldi and Lidl were also eating away at KS profits at this time.

I was offered another position however after a month I knew it wasn't for me so decided to take the redundancy. It was the best decision as afterwards KS just went into meltdown esp when Somerfield decided to buy it and then realised the stores were to put it blunt crap. They were too small, the tills were from the ark ages and the shelves were ancient.

We had a colleague with a knife to her throat, I was threatened many times when refusing to sell booze to either drunks or kids and many other things which always kept you going lol The abuse we got over charging 1p or 3p for bags was higher than anything else!

Some people I worked with were so set in their ways it was unreal however the majority were great and many laughs were had.

So RIP Kwik Save and thanks for time we had together.

Lots of things going on in the workplace at the moment which will have an effect on my future, to be honest I am ready for a change and think its gonna happen soon anyway. I cant comment too much about it at the moment or my feelings for the issues as walls have ears however I will hold a glass of vodka up and say "heres to the future"

Sitting outside watching the sun go down (and hearing about 10 different starts to Emmerdale through peoples open windows!) I am very pensive tbh, I don't know why but always get like this before I age another year!

I always think what happens when you die? You hear so many stories of it being a place with flowers where you seem to fly. When you watch these medium programmes 'spirits' come through to talk and they are wearing clothes or have fave items with them. I find it all very bizarre, dunno why I am thinking like this, feel drained......

I always seem to do a year review just before my birthday, seeing what happened within the last year. (normally in my head tho lol)

Max (dog)

Lost Max in October, never forget it. She just seemed to start bleeding from her womb and the next thing we know she is gone. The last time I saw her she was full of energy and jumping to give you a kiss, then she was struggling to stay alive. To have her fall to sleep in my arms was terrible. It was a difficult decision to make but she had no quality of life and she was very weak.

Dad

Lost me dad in August last year, had only just started speaking to him again after about 10 years. I was supposed to be going to see him in hospital on one particular evening but I didn't go and then he passed away the day after. I regret not going to see him when I should have. The funeral was very sad, I had just got to know me dad again and he was gone. Typical eh....

Alfie

After Max passed away it didn't feel right to not have a dog, we visited a rescue home and saw Zammo (renamed to Alfie, was the name the rescue centre gave him) We just got to him before an elderly chap did otherwise we may have missed out on him. Alfie is instantly delicious and the fact that someone dumped him on the streets made it more stronger to use a rescue home and give them another chance. He loves to kiss you and has made a wonderful little chap, a bit of a nightmare on the lead but thats maybe due to the way he was in the past as we know very little about the 1 year (he was 1 when we had him) he had before he was dumped on the street.

He's not my little girl but he is a close match.

to my birthday! God how another year has flown ain't it! A lot has happened in the last year, lost Max and lost me dad. On a positive note we have Alfie who is a lovely dog.

It makes me laugh when I read what I wrote last year, I was obviously pissed up lol! Well in the eyes of tradition I think I may get that way again later. ;)

I dunno why but I hate it when it gets near my birthday, seems to depress me. Another year older, my god! I look in the mirror and think 'who the hell are you?' Its depressing getting older, your face seems to cave in as if its had an earthquake! No amount of skin cream can seem to prevent this thing happening god dammit lol!

Its been lovely weather so far this week, cant complain really. Total difference from the same story I get every year from my mother 'it was raining when you were born, oh you should have heard the wind outside, the trees were banging on the window' I am that used to it that I now just say it for her......

Its always funny getting older yet sad when people younger pass away, like they have had no life yet we are still here. That's life innit......

Like most people I watched some of this years telly, here is my review of it.

Doctor Who

The great Tennant who in my view is one of the best to play the role took on the mighty Cybermen yet again!! How many more times do we need to keep watching him destroy them! Then we were tricked into thinking that the next doctor would be David Morrisey, when really it wasn't. I don't think he would be a good doctor to be honest, he didn't come across that realistic. Then we had a Cyberking which was ludicrous and as per usual he destroyed them and sent them off to another planet, of which no doubt we will see in next years episode or one of the specials!! Come on lets have something different for gawds sake!!

Strictly Come Dancing

I love this, it wouldn't be the same without Brucie but please stop the doddery catchphrase as it grinds on you when you hear it on every episode. Some great dancing but yet again crazy marking from the judges.

You have Craig who never gives a ten and when he does it doesn't make sense and uses the word 'darling' far too much. Arlene who needs a lie down and gave out too many tens! Len (SEVEN!!) who marks totally as if he is not seeing what we are seeing and has too many fave dancers. Last but not least is the wonderful Bruno who's comments will last forever - "you dance like a house with subsidence" "she looks like Doris Day and you were not bothered!" tho again he marks all over the place.

I love Bruce and don't think he should give it up, great for his age. It was a lovely show but I was bored with it, you knew who was going to win before it started and we also had the mess up with the voting again, in which Len (SEVEN!) marked them on who he felt should win. As for Russell Watson singing twas a load of old rubbish.......rather hear Brucie!

Great 2 episodes, you gotta give it to Suzy for the way she played her role "pop off Phil" "if you say that one more time I wont be the only thing popping off" also other great lines like

"you with old vinegar lips again"

"Ben was conceived with a weak sperm"

Seeing Dot with Jim was sooo touching and played amazingly good, also Roxy and Sean were great. Great two episodes if not stupid that it was in a cracker............

The Royale Family

Great episode with "well Christmas is not for kids is it?" It needed nan but Dave's family were great to watch with the constant Bar-ber-a's! My fave bit was the line "nothing to be ashamed about being gay, we voted to keep Biggins in!" With the usual "have ya had ya tea, wot ya had!" Well written.

I was too pissed after that to review anything else..............

Had to spend a fuking 4 weeks in this place for work, stayed in a hotel and worked away. I didnt mind it at first, aside from no organisation of it all it wasnt too bad at first but as the 4th week grinded towards us I had had enough. I cought the flu and left on the forth week earlier than what I should have but couldnt have cared less......

To spend 3 hrs on the train to get there did my head in, a lot more also did my head in too. The people up there were great if not a little 'stab you in the back' like. Also they seemed to thrive on you makin a mistake and orgasmed over it to say the least.

Its been a poxt year, lost Judy and Max (dogs) and lost my dad. My mum is in remission for cancer, I dont know how much I can take of this year.

Its totally broken my heart this year, it gets weaker and weaker and I know it will take me one day.

If I lose me mam I will overdose, as Kenny said "wots the bloody point..........." No man or living person will match the best friendship I have with my mother. I moan and nag with her but I couldn't imagine not speaking to her at least once a day. I lost my best mate at school, he passed away due to an illness, the only thing I have to remember him by is the mark on my forehead, it bloody hurt bashin my head on that wall, but I forgive him for that as we were kids an I luved him he didnt deserve to go so young, I luved you and was heartbroken when I found out you had passed away, we spent a lot of time together and when I meet you again you will get a great big hug even if ya scarred me, it makes me remember you, you didnt deserve to go and I wish I was there with you xxx

I sit here looking at the picture of me and Max and I am totally heartbroken about her.

I just wish that she was still here, it tears me up to not have her begging for milk, I so fukin miss her, she was the world to me, she meant so much to me more than any man could.

I have seen you in my dreams with your little legs crossed and hope you are well, it hurts so much that I cant kiss you anymore, I long to see you again and cannot wait to do this.

Well yes I went to see Derek live! He is a lot smaller in real life. To be honest I was a bit disapointed to say the least. He struggled a lot of the time, not like on the telly where he seems to amaze you cause he knows so much! Think he was pissed off cause we didnt get the names he kept coming out with, the usual 'died of a heart attack/cancer/car crash' etc

I did enjoy seeing him but in real life and off the telly they just aint the same........

We lost our little girl on Sunday the 5th October one day before her sister Judy passed away in March (that was the 6th)

She fell ill after the operation that she had, we took her back to the vets and they kept her in. She was so weak and it fukin broke my heart, she went in her pink coat and never left there...........

We went to see her everyday bar one, she seemed to have perked up on the Saturday, waggin her little tail and wantin a kiss. I phoned at night after we had been to be told that she was trying to leave her cage, we dont know if that was her trying to come home which makes it harder that she wasnt with us.

We went on Sunday and she was worse, I think its true that you perk up and then get worse. When I saw her she dead eyed me as if to say why have you brought me here. She was a lot worse, her bladder had swelled and she looked so sad. The vet said he could do other things like a blood transfusion to try and make her better but lookin at her she had had enough. It broke my heart to have to have her go to sleep. We couldnt let her suffer no more, it was in her eyes that she had enough.

To hold our little girl whilst she was put to sleep teared me apart, after she had gone i kissed her and let her know that if we could have done anything to save her we would have.

I still miss her now, little things like kisses and beggin for milk. Its so hard, it was before her time and its not fair, I would have spent any amount of money to keep her here with us but I couldnt see her in pain for our selfish needs.

I have had a terrible 2008 and I cant wait for it to end..........

After Max had had her operation she took a turn for the worse and became very ill. We rushed her to the vets and there she remains being treated on a drip. We have visited her whilst she has been there and its broke my heart to see her ill again.

We went today and she was a lot more perky than previously, we gave her plenty of kisses to ensure she knows that we love her lots.

You try to stay positive about stuff like this but its so hard. So far this year I have lost Judy, me dad and now this. If I am honest I cant take much more.

If we lose Max it will kill me, I will have a breakdown, she is our baby and its too before her time to let her go.

Get better so I can kiss those sexy lips, tho dont you dare beg for anymore milk cause ya aint gettin any!! XxX

Came home from work on Monday to find Max bleeding from her womb. Awwww she was shivering and in such a state. We whipped her off to the vets to find out that she needed to have her womb removed cause it was infected or she would die.

We left her there overnight and they operated on her straightaway, we fetched her back on Tuesday and she was like a rag doll bless, tho she was pleased to see us. What strength she had was used on wagging her little tail once she clapped eyes on us.

Well she was supposed to wear a collar so she wouldnt lick the stitches, she is so tiny that she couldnt walk with it on. So we got her a coat to wear to cover up her belly and keep her warm.

I am pleased to say that she is now OK, got to take her back just to make sure that its all gone OK and then to have the stitches removed.

I will be glad when 2008 is over, been a nightmare! One thing after another but we are so glad that our little girl is OK, that was the main thing.

I will put a pic up of her in her coat, after I have kissed her loads lol ;p

Lost Judy (our beloved dog for 16 years), lost me dad and lost 3 fish! My chest pains have got stronger and my dad said to me "I want you to go to the doctors" If my time is up then its up.......

We had his funeral today, it was strange following a car with a coffin in it knowing that that was my dad. I think he would have been proud of it, we sent him off well.

It was upsetting to see the curtain close for the final time, but dad we will meet again. You can teach me the correct way to play golf!!

My dad known not as Raymond but as his middle name 'Len' passed away on Tuesday, he had a fit then a further one which caused a heart attack and took him from us.

I went to see him on Tuesday night at the local hospital (he was in there due to a stroke), I had no idea that he wasn't there. I was told that he had been rushed to another hospital after having a massive fit. The nurses kept saying to me "I am so sorry" I had no idea that he had passed away.

I called the hospital that he had been rushed to only to be spoken to by a very rude woman who refused to give me any details about my dad. I found out later from his sister that he had passed away.

The one thing that gets me is the fact that previous to the Tuesday of me seeing him I was supposed to go on the Sunday but I didn't. I regret that I didn't go and I am so sorry dad that I wasn't there with you.

As my dad will laugh about, when I visited you in hospital I didn't bring you any chocolates as you didn't pay me for the last ones I got you...............

Ironic that my dad passing away was my 500th post, not what I wanted.............
