Steve Whatley

The television presenter Steve Whatley, 46, consumer expert on This Morning for 12 years and “Mr Diamonique” on the QVC channel, killed himself on November 7 by inhaling fumes, after his marriage had ended, an inquest at Hatfield, Hertfordshire, was told. He and his wife, Jae, had split five months earlier. Verdict: suicide.
